Listing Process.
The Division of Liquor Control is responsible for controlling the manufacture, distribution and sale of all alcoholic beverages in Ohio. The division is the state's sole purchaser and distributor of spirituous liquor (intoxicating liquor containing more than 21 percent alcohol by volume). All spirituous liquor products must be listed for sale by the Division of Liquor Control. Suppliers of those products must submit their listing requests to the Superintendent of the Division.
